Telfa™ AMD™ Island dressing provides broad spectrum effectiveness whilst being gentle to healthy cells. It helps to provide low cost prevention against nosocomial infection, helping to reduce the length of hospital stay.
- Contain PHMB (Polyhexamethylene biguanide).
- Resists bacterial colonization within the dressing.
- Reduces bacterial penetration through the dressing.
- Limits cross-contamination from and to the patient, clinician and environment.
- Hypoallergenic.
- Indications: Surgical incisions, suture sites, abrasion, lacerations, dry to light exudating wounds, IV lines, arterial stasis ulcers.
